Not all the filters we can put them directly to our objectives and not all the objectives have in a direct way the option to put or to install filters for these cases, we resort to an accessory that will allow us to use filters in both cases.

Mainly we will use filter holder for filters that come in square or rectangular format for this we will put a ring or an adapter in our objective and then we will install the filter holder holder where we will finally put the filters.

Which filter holder to buy?

The filter holder you buy depends mainly on the diameter of the lenses you are going to use, in general, it is a good idea to buy a filter holder for a large lens diameter and use converter washers to adapt it to smaller diameters.
