The Tortoise series of tripods are designed to provide a lightweight and efficient tripod that will be the perfect travel companion. The solution that allowed obtaining such parameters was the use of carbon fibers in its construction and the abandonment of the central column.

The Tortoise series is designed to make it easy to shoot with a tripod on the go. First of all, it was thought to keep the dimensions of the tripod as small as possible, so that its transport was comfortable. It was possible, for example, to abandon the central column, which translates into a significant reduction in the size of the tripod after folding.
Also, when folded, the Tortoise stand is only 8 cm in diameter. So it easily fits in a bag or backpack (fits both tripod mounts on a belt and dedicated side pockets). At the same time, the tripod kit includes a solid and dedicated carry bag.

The Tortoise series tripods can be used on the go and allow you to take a variety of shots. They will work well in landscape, urban, portrait, and architecture photography. Thanks to them, you will be able to photograph all the subjects that you come across while traveling and that require stabilizing the camera.
The versatility of the Tortoise tripod is guaranteed by 3 independently folding legs. Each of them has 3 locking positions, allowing you to freely adjust their position. At the top, they are connected by an aluminum spider with a flat base with 1/4 '' and 3/8 '' thread. Thanks to this, it is possible to mount a variety of heads. Additionally, the spider has 3 1/4 '' threads that allow you to attach additional accessories to the tripod.

The use of 3 independently adjustable legs allows you to place the tripod on any even uneven surface. In addition, each leg is finished with a rubber foot with the appropriate profile, which guarantees excellent adherence to the ground. This solution allows the legs to be placed vertically or almost horizontally to the ground, and the tripod will remain stable.
Additionally, the set includes metal picks that can be used to replace the rubber feet. The spikes increase the grip of the tripod, for example on slippery surfaces (such as ice, mud, etc.). Therefore, the rubber feet are useful when photographing on floors, parquet and other delicate surfaces that could scratch the spikes.
