The Vanguard Alta Pro 2 + 263CT Tripod is constructed of carbon fiber to maximize durability by limiting weight, supporting up to 15.4 lb, measuring 19.9" when folded, and can be positioned to a maximum height of 47.5", or 59.0" with its push-and-pull, fully lifted fast central column. Independent, as well as turn locks for quick deployment. When the central column and legs retract, the tripod is at 18.8". The polymeric covers are 18.8" polymer.

The camera can be extended beyond the legs of the tripod, which is particularly useful for copy support or macro photography. For subjects along the floor, the central column can also be used to obtain low angles while the tripod user is comfortably positioned behind the camera.

A nylon carrying bag with drawstring closure and shoulder strap for storage or transportation is included.
