Description

Designed for smooth transitions between photojournalism and sports photography, urban exploration and adventure travel, and all kinds of social events with or without a camera, the Tenba DNA 16 Pro blue camera messenger bag can accommodate a professional-sized DSLR camera with a grip and a 70-200mm lens attached, with room for up to six lenses in total plus a flash, accessories, personal gear, a laptop, and a tablet. The camera and lenses fit inside a padded insert in the main compartment that can be removed to allow it to be used as a conventional bag. Well-thought-out design features and proprietary hardware make this bag easy to use and durable against the elements.

What it contains

  • The removable padded camera insert slides out to convert the bag into a general-use one, not for taking photos; it does not affect the back sleeve, so the bag can still be used to carry a tablet even when the padded insert has been removed.
  • It has the capacity for a professional DSLR camera with a 70-200 mm 2.8 lens and grip, 4-6 additional lenses, a flash, and accessories.
  • Laptop sleeve for up to 40.64 cm and tablet up to 27.94 cm
  • The quick-access top zipper allows you to safely swap cameras and lenses without opening the front flap, keeping the contents of the bag hidden in the process.
  • The front zippered pocket, located under the main flap, provides secure storage for important items such as batteries, cables, memory cards, a phone, and keys.
  • The back pocket with a zipper is ideal for the passport and other items.
  • The side pockets made of elastic mesh provide quick storage for a small water bottle on the outside of the bag.
  • The MOLLE-compatible outer loops on the right side allow for attaching accessories such as lens pouches, rechargeable battery pouches, and Tenba card wallets, as well as any other MOLLE-compatible bag.

How is it done?

  • 70D lightweight ripstop nylon interior with two layers of polyurethane coating and a soft brushed tricot lining
  • Helix all-weather polyurethane-coated nylon exterior
  • The base coated with TPU and with sealed seams is completely waterproof on the bottom 1.5" of the bag, so you can safely place the bag on any wet surface, even for extended periods of time.
  • The Whisper Hook closure on the flap can be opened with an almost silent operation by pulling the flap down before removing it from the bag.
  • The front flap extends over the bag and has a sewn hinge to ensure easy closure and weather-resistant coverage at the corners.
  • The Stealth reflective panel on the bottom of the front flap is made with black reflective material to enhance safety and visibility at night.
  • The WeatherWrap rain cover, removable and reversible, is silver on one side to reflect the sun on hot days and black on the other side to blend in.
  • The Fidlock magnetic clips allow for quick release of the slider and easy reinstallation so that it can be opened and closed with one hand, even when wearing gloves or when the bag is behind you.

How to carry it and use it

  • Padded and soft top grab handle
  • The adjustable-length seatbelt-type shoulder strap is strong and long enough to be worn securely across the body.
  • The contoured memory foam shoulder pad features integrated silicone-coated non-slip grips.
  • The rear strap of the cart slides over the extendable handle of the wheeled luggage or equipment case for a secure trip on your back.
  • The adjustable safety strap for cycling connects to the D-rings on the back of the bag, anchoring it in place and preventing it from sliding forward while riding a bicycle or scooter.
