DJI Osmo Pocket extension rod

The DJI Osmo Pocket extension rod is like an advanced selfie stick with a joystick and control buttons for the Osmo Pocket gimbal. It also has a smartphone support for monitoring. The telescopic extension rod up to 30 "long, allowing you to shoot from different angles.

The Osmo pocket connects to the extension rod without wires. The mounting clip on the end of the extension rod has contacts that connect to the contacts on the gimbal, after which the buttons on the extension rod can be used to control the gimbal.

To use your smartphone as a monitor at the same time, an optional compatible USB cable is required to connect the phone to the extension rod. You can then monitor the image through the DJI Mimo application. Alternatively, the optional Osmo Pocket wireless module can be used. The wireless module connects to the bottom of the gimbal and establishes a connection with the phone via Wi-Fi.

The extension rod is compact, but the handle is thick enough to provide a comfortable and safe hand feeling. It is powered by a built-in LiPo battery that the Osmo Pocket automatically charges when connected. It also has a 1/4 "-20 mounting wire on the bottom to attach it to tripods and other brackets along with the gimbal.
