How to use a polarising filter?
A polarising filter, unlike other filters such as UV or ND, eliminates reflections and glare, especially outdoors. To use it correctly we must avoid shooting with our camera in the same direction as the sun, as the effect will be maximum when we are photographing at 90º to the direction of the light source. At Duke we have circular and rectangular polarising filters available.
Which polarising filter to buy?
The polarising filter that we are going to buy will depend on the equipment that we have, we must buy a filter of a suitable quality for our lens, for this we must look at the diameter if we are dealing with circular filters such as the B+W POLARISING FILTER. A polarising filter prevents your lens from absorbing light from reflections. The filter only lets light through in a certain orientation producing an effect that drastically reduces glare on water, vegetation and glass. At Duke you can find polarizing filters in different diameters (mm): 43, 46, 52, 62 and 77 among others. We also have UV and ND filters for your reflex camera.
