The Levenhuk Skyline PLUS 105 MAK model is a small telescope for beginner users who want a general-purpose optical instrument for astronomical and terrestrial observations. This telescope works effectively for studying the Moon, the planets of the Solar System, as well as known deep space objects. It allows observing Saturn's rings, storms on Jupiter, seasonal changes on Mars, and atmospheric phenomena on Venus. Double stars, diffuse and planetary nebulae, galaxies, and many other objects from the Messier and NGC catalogs can also be well discerned.

The optical elements of the telescope are arranged according to a catadioptric system. This means that its optical performance is integrated into a compact body. The telescope can be easily set up on a balcony. It is practical to take it to an open space for astronomical observations. The optics, with fully multi-coated lenses, provide a sharp and detailed image.

Some experience is necessary to use the telescope, but its equatorial mount offers more features than an altazimuth mount. It allows for precise and smooth tracking of celestial objects through two slow-motion control knobs. Prolonged observations can be made effortlessly, allowing for the study of more astronomical objects and phenomena.

The telescope is mounted on a stable aluminum tripod. The tripod legs are height adjustable. The accessory tray is useful for placing the accessories included in the kit and additional ones. Two eyepieces with different focal lengths are included, providing medium magnification, and a diagonal mirror is used for landscape observations.
