The Hoya filter of 52 mm ProND16 is a solid neutral density filter that allows an increase of 4 stops in the exposure. This density 1.2 creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to shoot with a wider aperture or a slower shutter speed than is normally required. By reducing the exposure time or increasing the aperture, you can control the depth of field and transmit the movement more easily.
This filter uses Hoya's ACCU-ND metal siding on both sides of the substrate to create the neutral density effect and ensure color neutrality between the filter grades. It is manufactured with high quality transparent optical glass for remarkable image clarity and is set within a durable one-piece aluminum filter ring.
