The Haida Red Diamond ND 3.0 filter of 100 x 100 mm is an ND filter with a filter factor of 1000x that provides a 10-stop exposure reduction. It is compatible with the Haida 100 or 100-Pro filter holder, and its 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or decreasing the exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

The Haida Red Diamond filters are made of shock-resistant optical glass. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections while enhancing clarity and color fidelity, each glass surface includes 10 layers of anti-reflective nano coatings. Another 10 hydrophobic scratch-resistant coatings further protect the Haida Red Diamond filter substrate and produce an enhanced beading effect when their surfaces come into contact with water or oil, allowing for more efficient cleaning. Additionally, the Haida Red Diamond filters have rounded edges for easier placement within a compatible filter holder slot.

A metal case for storage and transport is included, as well as a light-blocking gasket. This gasket forms a seal intended to prevent stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from entering between the filter and the lens behind it.
