With 99% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space, the BenQ SW271 27" 16:9 4K HDR IPS monitor is designed for those who demand enhanced color accuracy for tasks such as photo editing, graphic design, and more. In addition to covering 99% of the Adobe RGB color space, this monitor also covers 100% of the Rec.709 and sRGB color spaces, and 93% of the DCI-P3 color space. To further enhance color brightness and clarity, this BenQ monitor supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) and HDR10 to help make images more detailed and realistic.

High Dynamic Range (HDR)

High Dynamic Range (HDR) increases the overall dynamic range between white and black so that the resulting image appears closer to what your eyes see in the natural world.
To view HDR content from your device, make sure to use the HDMI cable provided with the SW271 monitor or a high-speed HDMI cable or a premium high-speed certified HDMI cable.
HDR function is compatible with HDR10

14-bit 3D LUT and Delta E ≤ 2

The 14-bit 3D lookup table (LUT) enhances the accuracy of RGB color matching, resulting in improved color reproduction. Having Delta E≤2 in Adobe RGB and sRGB color spaces provides you with a more accurate and representative view of the original image.

Hardware calibration

Hardware calibration allows you to adjust the image processing chip in the monitor without changing the output data from the graphics card. It keeps the images consistent with their original copies without being affected by the graphic settings.

Palette Master Element calibration software

With the use of Palette Master Element and a calibrator, you can adjust and maintain the monitor's color performance at its most optimal state.
Compatible platforms: Win7 or higher, Mac OS 10.6.8 or higher
Compatible calibrators: X-Rite i1 Display Pro / i1 Pro / i1 Pro 2 and Datacolor Spyder 4 / Spyder 5

USB Type-C cable for optimal convenience

The SW271 uses the USB Type-C port to transmit video and data with a single cable. Therefore, you can perform hardware calibration with ease. The USB Type-C port displays 4K content smoothly and offers a transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps.
The transmission speed of USB Type-C can vary.
USB Type-C is compatible with Thunderbolt 3.

Advanced black and white modes

View your photos with a black and white film effect. Choose from three different black and white presets to preview your photos before making actual adjustments in your photo editing program.

GamutDuo

GamutDuo allows you to view content simultaneously in different color spaces side by side for additional comparison. Switch to PIP/PBP mode to enable GamutDuo.

Hotkey Puck

The Hotkey Puck allows the user to effortlessly switch between Adobe RGB mode, sRGB mode, and Black and White mode. The buttons can also be customized to assign other modes or OSD settings, such as brightness and contrast, to provide greater convenience for photographers.

Shading hood

The SW271 includes a detachable shading hood that effectively reduces screen glare from ambient lighting, ensuring the excellent color accuracy needed for professional work. The shading cover can be used in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
