Panasonic's Lumix G Fisheye 8 mm f / 3.5 is a 180° fisheye that produces a unique and creative distortion for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. by combining a modest maximum aperture and sophisticated optical design, a compact and lightweight form factor is possible, and the optical design also features an extra low dispersion element to maintain high clarity and colour accuracy. individual elements have also been coated with multiple layers, and a built-in lens cover is included, to suppress lens glare to the lens.

The ultra-wide fisheye lens is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides an equivalent focal length of 16 mm.

The fisheye design yields a 180° viewing angle to produce a distinctive visual appeal characterized by dramatic distortion and creative representation of space.

An extra low dispersion element is used in the optical design to suppress chromatic aberrations and color fringes for greater color clarity and accuracy.

The individual elements have been coated with multiple layers to effectively reduce lens glare and ghost images for better contrast when working in bright lighting conditions.

The AF stepper motor and internal focusing design provide smooth, quiet focusing performance suitable for use with photos and videos.
