Developed for aerial photography applications, the ultra-light silver version of Laowa 7.5mm f / 2 MFT is a super-wide rectilinear lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Compared to the standard version of this lens, this lightweight edition is 20 grams lighter, making it suitable for use with drones and gimbals

In addition to their lightweight design, the wide focal length and bright maximum aperture f/2 are also ideal for astrophotography applications, and their optical design incorporates two aspherical elements and three extra low dispersion elements to control distortion and aberrations for improved clarity and sharpness. a frog eye coating has also been applied to the front element to protect it from water and dust, and the manual focus lens design allows working with subjects at a distance of 4.7".

The ultra wide-angle approach is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides an equivalent focal length of 15 mm.

This light version of the lens weighs 20 g less than the standard version, making it more suitable for aerial photography / drone. It shares the same optical design and same quality metal construction, however, some of the parts have been redesigned and replaced to reduce the overall weight.

Brilliant maximum opening f / 2 benefits from working in dark and difficult lighting conditions.

The rectilinear design reproduces scenes with straight vertical lines and minimal distortion for a more realistic representation.

Two aspherical elements and three extra low dispersion elements are presented to minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations for sharper, clearer and more accurate color images.

Frog Eye Coating has been applied to the front element to help repel water and dust.

The manual focus design allows you to work with subjects at a distance of as little as 4.7".

Accepts 46mm threaded filters and a petal-shaped sunshade is also included.
