The patented Phottix multifunction Varos Pro S umbrella bracket has been designed for professional photographers to mount a shoe flash and umbrella to a stand or tripod. Perfect for exteriors or studios, the umbrellas offer a soft light, perfect for portraits or special effects. The new Varos Pro is 300% stronger than previous versions and consists of an aluminum alloy body with a metal shoe mount, built-in 3/8" and 1/4" female thread, and 3/4" male thread, and 3" male thread.
The umbrella assembly accepts umbrellas with a 7-10mm shaft and the 8 degree angle placement allows more light to hit the center of the umbrella. The patented umbrella clamp has been redesigned to provide 300% more locking force keeping the umbrella shaft safer and damage free.
The redesigned patented locking mechanism for holding the 3/8" female thread and ¼" offers 300% more locking force. The patented 180o tilt mechanism supports up to 25Kg of weight. The new handle lock remains secure until the locking button is released. It includes a hole for hanging material as well as a clip for use with a weight counter or other accessories.
