The Expan Manfrotto 046MCB transmission kit with black metal chain makes it easy to raise and lower the bottom paper rolls without lowering the supports. The system uses two expandable technopolymer inserts to support a single roll of seamless paper. Squeezing each side expands the drive inserts from 1.8 "to 3" to grip the roll firmly from the inside. One side has a large toothed gear to which a metal link chain is attached, allowing the bottom roll of paper to be raised and lowered conveniently. The other side has an adjustable tension drag.
