Designed for the FUJIFILM G-mount GFX camera system, the GF 20-35 mm f/4 R WR lens is a wide-angle zoom that offers a focal length range equivalent to 16-28 mm. This zoom covers from ultra wide-angle to wide-angle perspectives and is especially suitable for landscape, travel, and architectural applications. The constant maximum aperture of f/4 maintains consistent performance throughout the zoom range. A sophisticated optical design combines a trio of aspherical elements with an aspherical ED element and three ED elements to control spherical and chromatic aberrations to enhance sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy. Balancing the optical assets is an internal focusing mechanism that uses a linear AF motor to deliver fast, quiet, and precise focusing performance. A fluorine coating has also been applied to the front element to repel moisture, and the lens also features a dust, freeze, and weather-resistant construction for use in harsh conditions. Additionally, a manual aperture ring is available for intuitive and tactile adjustment over exposure settings, and a command position can also be set for camera-based aperture control.
