The PocketWizard PlusX 2 Pack provides 2 transceivers for a wireless solution to remotely activate a portable or studio flash unit at distances up to 1600 '. It is also possible, using one transceiver on the camera and the other acting as a receiver on your remote flash, to trigger multiple flashes located near the receiver using its integrated optical slaves.
The PlusX transceiver offers 10 channels that can be easily navigated through the large backlit channel dial. Automatic detection technology allows you to instantly fluctuate between transmitter and receiver functions. The PlusX is fully backward compatible with all other PocketWizard radio slaves and also with flash units with built-in PocketWizard reception such as Sekonic, Photogenic, Norman, Bowens and Dynalite. Synchronization speeds of up to 1/250 sec. for focal plane blinds and 1/500 sec for leaf blinds are possible with shooting speeds of up to 14.5 frames per second. A hot shoe on the unit and a 3.5mm sync port allow connection to devices with or without hot shoe. This specially boxed kit includes 2 PlusX transceivers, 1 miniphone to miniphone cable, 1 PC cable and 1 adapter. Two laces and an instruction book are also included.
