These compact inverted joint prism models feature a durable dual-axis, single-body design with synchronized IPD adjustment and full multi-coating for improved light transmission. This lineup has a different focus. The dual axis inverted joint prism design makes it compact and lightweight. Combined with aspherical lens elements for edge-to-edge sharpness, BaK4 prisms, and multilayer lenses, you get an ideal star performer as a travel companion, for outdoor events, or for general use.

New fully multilayer optics
Fully multilayer lenses serve the essential purpose of maximizing the amount of light that passes through a lens, thus preventing flare and ghosting from interfering with your vision. PENTAX applies multiple layers of coatings to each surface of each element and prism in the complete Sport Optics line. These fully multilayer optics ensure maximum light transmission, resulting in a clear and sharp view of the world.

BaK4 prisms
Due to its excellent refractive index, the BaK4 glass prism found in all PENTAX sports optics is highly acclaimed for its perfectly round exit pupil and clear, vignette-free image.

Aspherical lens elements
Edge-to-edge sharpness is a vital element for comfortable viewing. To achieve this, we use aspherical lens elements in our eyepieces. This is a specially shaped lens design that reduces aberration to a minimum.

Internal focusing optics design
