The Kaiser RS1 Copy support is a high quality copy support that meets the special requirements of resistance, design and, above all, angular precision. For large and heavy camera systems, an extremely low vibration level is a must for perfect results. This requirement is perfectly fulfilled with the RS1. It Has a precise height adjustment system with weight compensation by means of an integrated helical spring.
The Black matte reflective socket with printed grid marking allows the originals to be placed easily. The reproducible precision is also guaranteed by the CM and inch scales marked on the specially wide anodized column, of matte black color, made of a special aluminium tube.
To level the entire unit, there is a level of bubble on the strong pedestal. The height is adjusted by a friction drive with nylon bearings and a crank. In the RS1 copy stand, the Repro RT1 ARM ensures accurate and secure camera adjustment.
With the camera screw that is easily changed, you can mount any type of camera system on the playback arm. All you need is a coin to change the 1/4 "Screw to a 3/8" screw.
The RT1 arm is for Kaiser RS 1, RS 10 and RSX camera supports and is also suitable for converting Kaiser System-V enlargers into a copy stand. The large 18 x 20 "(450 x 500 mm) socket has a tight support to hold the column to the playback arm. A bubble level is integrated into the support that makes alignment easier. The feet are height-adjustable individually. A well-marked grid completes solid baseboard construction.
Note: This assembly comes with a RT1 reprogramming Arm (# 205521), 40 "(# 204474) counterbalanced Column, and an 18 x 20 " (# 205517) Grating base Board. IT DOESN'T come with any light.
