The PhotoSport PRO 55L AW III is designed to provide maximum protection, comfort, and modularity for the most challenging photographic journeys. It can accommodate a mirrorless or full-frame DSLR camera with a vertical grip and a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, as well as 2 additional lenses or a drone with accessories. It also has space to carry essential hiking and camping items, such as a sleeping bag, a tent, food, a jacket, and trekking poles sufficient for the needs of a multi-day trip.

Each variant is available with a selection of two strap sizes for the shoulders. The S-M straps are designed to better fit smaller torsos. The straps are slightly more curved and shorter in length. The M-L straps are designed to better fit larger torsos. The straps are longer and less curved. The foam incorporates a special perforation system to achieve either greater flexibility or more padding, wherever needed.

The PhotoSport PRO comes with a modular GearUp PRO XL case, which can be accessed from the front or back, and serves as a removable camera compartment, in addition to providing extra protection against impacts and moisture. Thanks to this modular system, the PhotoSport PRO backpacks offer a versatile carrying solution, as not all equipment has to be carried throughout the adventure. Once at the base camp, the GearUp Pro XL can be removed from the backpack to be carried alone when taking photos.

The backpack comes with various straps to carry the GearUp Pro case individually in different configurations. The GearUp Pro XL can also be purchased separately, and there is also a smaller version, the GearUp Pro L, which is only sold individually.

The PhotoSport PRO backpack is equipped with the fully adjustable and breathable ActivLift™ harness system, which offers excellent weight distribution, ensuring optimal comfort, even with the heaviest loads on the longest trips. With its adjustable torso length, shoulder support angle, and extra straps for the chest and waist, the backpack guarantees a comfortable fit for nature photographers and hikers, regardless of their size.

Additionally, the PhotoSport PRO incorporates the “Lowepro green line” label, consisting of an indicator of the percentage of recycled fabrics in the product. 85% (model BP55L) of recycled fabric, while the GearUp PRO XL insert consists of 50%.
