Real-time in-camera stitching greatly reduces the time needed to process your 360° videos on your computer, and the built-in image stabilization smooths out your handheld action. THETA X quickly connects via Bluetooth 5.0 without needing to enter an SSID (network name) and also offers dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. Use the separately available cap to protect the camera lenses and serve as a table stand.

High resolution capture
THETA X allows you to capture immersive 360° views of your travels, events, or commercial properties in the form of still photos up to 11K (60MP) or videos up to 5.7K at 30 fps.
Maximum capture times at 77 °F (due to possible overheating):

48MP sensor
The THETA X combines a redesigned processor with two 48MP sensors and f/2.4 lenses to capture scenes as close as 15.7" from the front of the lens.
Two fixed format options
There are two settings for capturing still images: 11K for high-resolution capture of bright scenes and a more efficient 5.5K option with the ability to take up to 20 still images per second.
Time change mode
Capture images without being seen in the frame using Time Shift mode.
Touchscreen
The integrated 2.25" touch LCD screen allows you to use THETA X without your smartphone or a remote control. You can even adjust the camera settings and preview your image before shooting. Photos can be taken with a touch on the touch screen, and users can switch through shooting modes with a single button on the camera. After shooting, images can be selected on the touch screen to be marked as favorites on your smartphone.
Swappable batteries
The THETA X is Ricoh's first 360° camera that uses interchangeable DB-110 batteries with 3.6 V and 1350 mAh, allowing it to shoot for longer periods. It can also power the camera through its USB Type-C port without the need for the optional extension adapter.
Internal Memory Card Plus microSDXC
The camera's 46 GB of internal memory can be supplemented with a 64 GB or larger microSDXC card, allowing you to capture even more images throughout the day.

MIMO for faster transfers

Image stabilization
Enhanced image stabilization smooths your action videos at speeds of up to 5.7K30.
Live broadcast
To achieve optimal video streaming, THETA X allows you to adjust the exposure and white balance settings within the camera before starting to live stream. Stream your content live via USB at a high resolution of 4K30 at speeds of up to 100 Mb/s in AVC/H.264 with single-channel AAC-LC audio.
Expansion of add-ons
The Android-based operating system on THETA X allows for the creation of complementary applications by third-party developers, further expanding the camera's capabilities. A new client mode enables THETA X to connect directly to your router to facilitate expansions without the need for a smartphone, laptop, or PC.
GPS function
The integrated GPS and compatibility with A-GPS (Assisted GPS) allow users to obtain precise position data from the camera.
