Designed to elevate your podcasting, streaming, music creation, and content creation, the RODECaster Duo from RODE is a compact and powerful all-in-one audio production solution that offers the same revered features and versatility of the RODECaster Pro II in a smaller, more portable form factor. Perfect for those who require fewer audio inputs and a more travel-friendly design, the RODECaster Duo does not sacrifice any of the qualities or functionalities of its bigger sibling, boasting the same high-power quad-core audio engine, high-gain low-noise Revolution preamps, APHEX audio processing, and flexible customization.
The RODECaster Duo features two combo XLR-1/4" inputs for microphone or line level signals, a stereo pair line output for speakers, two headphone outputs, a microSD card reader for internal multitrack recording, two USB-C host connections, and an ethernet network terminal for hardware or software integrations. Like the RCPII, you also get intuitive control, such as four assignable mixer faders, six colorful customizable SMART pads for audio, FX, and MIDI triggering, a bright color touchscreen, and many buttons and knobs to create engaging content of almost any kind. The RODECaster Duo includes Bluetooth technology and built-in wireless microphone receivers for integrated compatibility with RODE Wireless GO II and Wireless ME, allowing you to handle almost any use scenario and any workflow, anywhere.

2 high-end preamplifiers

• Designed to compete with costly boutique microphone preamps, the Revolution preamps offer transparency and detail with ultra-low noise (just -131.5 dBV) and an incredible gain of up to 76 dB, allowing for ideal recording levels even for low-output dynamic microphones, without the need for microphone amplifiers, boosters, or normalization.

• The professional quality Neutrik XLR-1/4" combo connectors provide connection points for microphones (phantom power of +48 V is available for condenser microphones), line level sources, or instruments like electric guitar and bass. Pairs of analog input channels can be linked to easily record stereo microphone setups, synthesizers, DJ mixers, or external equipment.

Studio-quality processing and effects

• Authentic emulations of classic APHEX hardware processors are integrated: Aural Exciter enhances clarity and brightness, Big Bottom adds a warm and deep low-frequency punch, and Compellor brings it all together with compression/leveling, along with other widely used processors, including reverb, delay, pitch shift, equalizer, high-pass filter, noise gate, de-esser, robot effects, and more.

• Use the VoxLab editor to quickly manipulate parameters across multiple processors through three intuitive controls, or access the advanced editor (on-screen or with a computer) for complex editing. Use presets, save your own presets, and load them at any time to instantly access your favorite settings.

6 programmable SMART pads

• Each SMART pad can trigger audio files such as music or sound clips, activate special effects, send MIDI commands to software or hardware, or execute mixer functions like fades, music attenuation, and beeps.

• Bank shift buttons under the pads for a large number of unique actions.

• Select the color of your choice for the pad lighting, a convenient way to remember which effect is on each pad.

Customizable multichannel mixer

• The 7-channel mixer features 4 channels with full-size physical faders with broadcast quality and three virtual channels, with the option to expand through digital hosting and hardware integrations with future updates.

• The physical faders and virtual channels can be freely assigned to the two analog inputs, the USB and Bluetooth interfaces, and the SMART pads.

• Each channel offers pan control, a mute button, and a listen button (pre or post-fader only). With the channel-specific color coding on the RODECaster Duo, you will be able to quickly identify your sources.
