Take pictures with a drone

Today technology gives us the tools to reach all possible scenarios. In the case of drones, we can reach heights unimaginable before, and take aerial photos comfortably and without sacrificing quality.

Using a Drone Phantom 2

The Dji Phantom 2 is a type of drone that allows you to use your GoPro camera, as it does not have its own capture system. This can reach 300 meters high for quite some time, as its battery has a great autonomy. In addition to this, the Phantom 2 is an intelligent device, which descends gradually when its battery level is low.

Dji Phantom 3: the ultimate drone

The first thing we can say when we see this drone is that, compared to its predecessor, they have improved the design in a remarkable way. But what is really important is that Phantom has finally created a flying camera for us. A drone with an integrated camera is now possible.

Frequently Asked Questions about Drones

What is a drone?

A drone is a small aerial vehicle that is controlled by remote control. They are used for a variety of purposes, from military to agricultural use. However, where it is most commonly found is in the audovisual world, as they usually have an integrated video camera and allow us to record shots that would otherwise be impossible to achieve.

Where can you fly a drone?

Drones are increasingly subject to more and more restrictions on their use. The best thing to do, especially if you do not want to use them professionally, is to use drones weighing less than 250 grams, such as the famous DJI Mini 2 or DJI Mavic Air 2, as the prohibitions are much lighter. We must ensure that we do not fly above 120 metres in height and 50 metres horizontally. In addition, it is forbidden to fly within 8 km of airports, in national parks, Biosphere Reserves or other protected areas.

How does a drone work?

As a rule, a drone is powered by four motors that rotate the propellers: two of them clockwise and two of them counterclockwise, working at the same time, so that the drone can move upwards. The path of the drone is controlled by a remote control. To improve its operation we can have different accessories, such as a battery kit that prolongs its flight.

Which drone to buy?

Before buying a drone we should look at some specifications. Above all, the restrictions in our country. In the case of Spain, it is best to use a drone weighing less than 250 grams. On the other hand, if we want to use it to record videos, we should look at the characteristics of the camera and the battery life. However, thanks to the accessories available, we can improve these aspects. The drones that give us the best guarantee of satisfaction are those from DJI, where, depending on our budget, we can choose a more advanced one like the Mavic Air 2, a mid-range one like the Mini 2 or a more economical one like the Ryze Tello.
